Autumn School 2022 URSA MAJOR: Urban Sustainability in the Arctic Cities

Oct 10, 2022 | News

For one week in October 2022, students and researchers came together to explore issues at the intersection of sustainability and the Arctic. Organized by Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU, Tronheim) and independent research group SINTEF, the URSA MAJOR school gave participants the opportunity to work collaboratively on team projects focused on renewable energy implementation, civic participation, and smart city design in northern contexts. By employing VR, groups were able to craft visions showcasing potential transition trajectories for these critical areas.

Participants:

Professors Nikolay Shiklomanov and Vera Kuklina
